The 2026 MAPD Certification season is upon us!

Important Dates to Remember:

Thursday, 6/19 - the 2025 AHIP Medicare course goes "offline". If you haven't finished it yet, be sure to get it done before 11:59pm ET on that date.

Monday, 6/23 - the 2026 AHIP Medicare course will launch.

**Remember, in order to get the $50 discount, you must access the AHIP course through a carrier certification portal. That way the discount will automatically be applied and you will pay $125 instead of $175.

Some carriers offer a certification route that doesn't include AHIP - UnitedHealthcare and Aetna being 2 of them. If those are the ONLY carriers you are going to sell, then that may be an option for you. But we recommend taking AHIP if you plan on getting MAPD certified with multiple carriers.

It's important that agents complete the carrier certifications as soon as possible when they are released. That way you will be informed of the 2026 plan offerings and can prepare your marketing plan well ahead of AEP!
